Eden Philp is a professional actor, on camera coach, and director of the new
Act One Studio. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology she has taught drama and on camera acting to students age three to adult for almost ten years. After focusing on theatre for many years, Eden started her apprenticeship as a professional camera acting coach and teacher. She quickly moved up the ranks to become lead teacher at Shisko Studios. Eden moved on to open up her own studio last fall and her reputation has been building ever since. In the past year Eden joined the artists roster of the “Learning through the Arts” program, which brings professional artists into the schools to teach core curriculum. As an actor she performed at the Citadel Theatre, one Canada’s top regional theatres, and opened up her own production company named Amira Productions. Eden’s favorite roles include Rosalind in Shakespeare’s ‘As You Like It’, and Laura in ‘The Glass Menagerie’. She has earned lead roles in several films including ‘A Willing Voyeur’, a feature film shot in Saskatchewan. Eden’s clients have booked roles on ‘Sandlot II’, ‘Dead Like Me’, ‘Just a Phase’ and numerous television commercials.
Eden is an excellent coach. Very thorough and she makes learning fun too!
